For the San Saba River at Menard:

* At 750 AM CDT Saturday the observed stage was 11.66 feet.

* Action Stage:   8.0 feet.

* Flood Stage:    18.0 feet.

* Forecast: The San Saba River at Menard will continue its recession

  today, as the river is cresting just over 15 feet this morning and

  is expected to quickly fall below action stage (8 feet) by later

  this morning.
