Gradual warming is expected over the next couple days under steady south to southwest winds. Current relative humidity values range around 35-60% this afternoon, expected to recover overnight tonight to around 65-100%. southerly to southwesterly winds are highest on mountaintops, with most lower level sites reporting under 15 mph winds and a few gusts to 15-20 mph. Minimum RH values around 35-55% are anticipated on Monday, increasing to 45-75% on Tuesday with an influx of moisture. Conditional fire weather concerns could develop on Monday if the opportunity presents itself, but will generally be limited due to lack of strong winds. Some light rain (under a tenth of an inch of precipitation) could develop on Tuesday and Tuesday night with increased cloud cover, and then more substantial warming will take place on Wednesday into the late week ahead of widespread rain late Thursday into Friday. We'll be monitoring for whether breezy winds or high humidity arrives first on Wednesday for fire weather concerns, but at this point in time minimum RHs of 45-65% are forecast when winds begin to increase midweek.
