Additional showers and embedded thunderstorms will be possible through the remainder of the afternoon. Light showers are now possible Monday but the next best chance for rain will be with our system Tuesday night and Wednesday. After Wednesday we move back into a drier pattern into next weekend. Slightly drier air will move in behind Wednesday's front but min RH values will still remain above 40% Thursday and 35% Friday. The rain this weekend and Tuesday/Wednesday may provide some slight relief to the drought but it will not make a huge impact and fuels could dry out very quick by the end of the week and fire weather concerns may return next weekend.
