On Monday, winds will be west-southwesterly winds will be sustained at 20-30 mph with gusts as high as 45 mph during the afternoon. - Scattered storms are possible late tonight into early Monday morning. A few of the storms could be severe with wind gusts over 60 mph. && .DISCUSSION... Mostly cloudy skies and southerly winds continue this afternoon, with speeds between 10-20 mph. A broken line of storms will track towards the Texas Panhandle and northern South Plains late tonight, likely after midnight. These will bring potential for severe wind gusts. Into Monday, west-southwesterly winds become breezy, sustained at 20-30 mph with gusts as high as 45 mph. Despite the winds, fire danger remains low due to above normal soil moisture and relative humidity. A few additional storms are possible Monday afternoon across the eastern Rolling Plains.
